Why I Love Eden Energy Medicine
Updated: 3 days ago

One of the things I love most about Eden Energy Medicine and Donna Eden’s teachings is how deeply they empower people.
When I first encountered Donna’s work, I was drawn to the way she made energy medicine practical and approachable. Her teachings offered a different way of understanding the body—one that invited curiosity and participation rather than simply asking us to look outside ourselves for answers.
This is especially true of the Daily Energy Routine. I love that Donna created something people can take with them and practice on their own. It is a simple, accessible way to begin paying attention to how we feel and to develop a relationship with our own energy.
For me, that is an important part of what energy medicine is about.
There is something powerful about having a few practices you can turn to in the morning, during a stressful day, or whenever you feel that you need to come back into balance. The Daily Energy Routine gives people an experience of being able to do something for themselves. Over time, that can change the way we relate to our bodies.
Rather than waiting until something feels wrong, we can begin to develop an everyday awareness of our energy. We can notice what brings us more vitality, what helps us feel grounded, and what supports us when life feels demanding. We become participants in the conversation with our own bodies.
That spirit of empowerment is one of the reasons I was drawn to become an Eden Energy Medicine practitioner.
I have always been fascinated by the body's innate wisdom and its capacity to continually move toward greater balance. Eden Energy Medicine gave me a language and a set of practices for exploring that wisdom. Donna's teachings also reminded me that energy medicine doesn't have to be complicated or mysterious. Sometimes the most meaningful practices are the ones that are simple enough to become part of everyday life.
I also appreciate that Donna encourages people to become their own observers. Instead of simply telling someone what their body needs, her work encourages us to notice, experiment, and discover. What happens when I do this exercise? How do I feel afterward? What changes when I slow down, breathe, move, or bring my hands to a particular area of the body?
Those questions can become a doorway into a much deeper awareness.
This is something I hope to bring into my own work with clients. When I share Eden Energy Medicine, I don't want someone to feel that they need me in order to feel well. I want them to leave with a greater understanding of themselves and, whenever possible, practices they can continue exploring on their own.
There is a beautiful simplicity in that.
We all move through periods when we feel depleted, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply out of rhythm. Having practices that help us reconnect with ourselves can be a valuable resource. The Daily Energy Routine is one of those resources for me, and I love that Donna has made it available to so many people.
Ultimately, what continues to inspire me about Donna Eden's work is her belief in people's capacity to engage with their own well-being. She doesn't place energy medicine behind a wall of complexity. She invites us to learn, to feel, to experiment, and to discover what our own bodies are telling us.
That invitation—to become more curious, more aware, and more engaged with our own energy—is a big part of why I love this work. Thank you, Donna!
